Ethics management plan

This deliverable details or ethical issues concerning datACRON and how these will be managed by consortium partners.
Specifically, this deliverable will address
A. All ethics issues described in section 5.1. of part B, in this Description of Action
B. Issues regarding humans:
• Details on the procedures and criteria that will be
used to identify/recruit the professional end users. More specifically,
information on how the consortium will reach these participants (own
network, web announcement, social media, press release...), how the
potential participants will be gratified (if any gratification is planned),
what will be the burden for them if they accept to participate.
• Detailed information on the informed consent procedures that will
be implemented.
• Templates of project related information sheets
and consent forms. These documents must include information in
language understandable to the field tests participants as regard to
their right to withdraw at any time without any harm being done to
their and their careers. Material stating the perimeter, nature, usage,
potential commercial reuse of their personal or other collected data
must be included.
C. Issues regarding protection of personal data:
• Potential privacy risks related to noise reduction processes.
• The integration of privacy by design within the process.
• Identification and documentation of the licensing options (creative commons, etc...).
• Detailed information on the procedures that will be implemented for
data collection, use and reuse, consent, storage, protection, retention,
destruction, and how the professional users will be consented.
• Measures to ensure continued compliance with national and EU
legislation on data protection.
D. Issues regarding dual use:
• Assessment, documentation and mitigation of mission/function creep risks.
