Project management handbook

Definition of the Consortium operating procedures summarising all the required knowledge for the good management of the project (in terms of administrative forms, financial aspects, quality process…)definition of performance indicators ; establish the guidelines for financial reporting, presentation standards for deliverables and reports; define classified information and guarantee the maintenance of the chain of custody and include an internal review procedure to guarantee the quality of the results of the project

Preliminary report on Interactive Robotics market analyses and support tools for SMEs (business models and exploitation strategies)

Deliverable 1.1 will describe the intermediate achievements and conclusions of WP1. It will include:
- Robotic market analysis: Description of specific desk researches, performed by each partner in its field, in order to identify what is still needed for each specific market. will be able to analyse its specific robotic field, researches on the available resources in order to identify the geographical distribution of the robot demand in each specific application field of robotics, define the economic size of the target market of robot demand.
- Support tools for SMEs: Collection and analysis of appropriate international Instruments (e.g. of the European Commission), country-specific funding policies as well as in specific cases local/regional initiatives. Small-and-medium-sized enterprises with assistance related to the management of their Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio, which may include trademarks, patents, utility models, copyrights, designs and confidential information. A guideline for young entrepreneurs that provides advise in the often very difficult first years of activity.

INBOTS CSA website

Design of the project web site (two level access, public and internal) in consistency with the layout produced (http://www.inbots.org). It will contain general project information, as well as information about project results, news on the project activities, information on the consortium members, etc. including all the public deliverables, and it will be updated on the permanent basis during the project life and afterwards

Quality assurance plan

The quality assurance plan reports on the quality measures to be adopted within INBOTS CSA to ensure quality of work and management. They are reported both at general and partner levels, and describe the actions to ensure: (1) Quality follow-up in terms of resources, capacity and budget, (2) coherent information exchange, and (3) work according to quality standards.

Preliminary Report on Interactive Robotics public awareness and acceptance

This deliverable will include a preliminary report about:
- gaps and needs related to the current level of understanding of robotics by public

Deliverable 2.1. will describe the intermediate conclusions of WP2. It will focus on:
- liability, risk management and insurance issues;

- CSR aspects.

Preliminary report on Interactive Robotics’ education programs and learning activities

This preliminary report will focus on:
- Identification of specific training needs. Identify, for different education levels (students aged from 4 to 17), which are the specific training needs and the educational tools that are more suitable for each level, so to build a shared and highly accessible education platform. Investigate on analogies and differences between different countries and institutions in terms of course length, load, and contents. The identified analogies will result in plan exchange programs. Investigation on the learning needs specific for people that have to interact with robots but not necessarily have a suitable technical background and will identify the tools that are more suitable for a rapid and focused application. A network covering past, current and future efforts will be realized with the focus of enabling a communication channel to discuss thematic approaches, relevance and impact of each event.
- Intermediate conclusions on organization of workshops, network building, training and exchange programs.

Communication plan

The communication strategy, covering coordination of the overall communication efforts of the consortium, it includes the publication by all the partners of a project reference in the web sites of their own institutions, the planning and coordination of all those efforts, building on a clear strategy with special consideration of the information sensitivity issues

This intermediate report will focus on the preliminary conclusions of WP4.

Plan for Exploitation and Dissemination of Results

A report containing the dissemination strategy through different target groups (internal dissemination, robotic community, stakeholders, users and end users (SAB), general public, governmental and institutional dissemination). Results will be disseminated through various channels outside the consortium in order to raise the public awareness of the project related issues in EU and worldwide (website, workshops. Etc.) these channels will be defined at the beginning of the project and explained in this report.
