Summary

PJ14 EECNS objectives have not changed during this reporting period. Objectives are line with the four Key Features described in the European ATM Master Plan:
• Optimised ATM Network services
• Advanced air traffic services
• High-Performing airport operations
• Enabling aviation infrastructure

PJ14 EECNS in order to act as a single entity, and to pursue its defined objectives, in an unambiguous manner, has provided itself with a transversal solution: PJ14.01.01, which provides CNS evolution roadmap and strategy and addresses the evolution of CNS applications with integrated view of the three domains.

Final results

Project 14 EECNS results expected at the end of the project are fully in line with the proposal of the Grant Agreement n. 734129, although PJ14 EECNS has formally requested following changes:
• Consortium Requested Amendment AMD-734168-21
• Consortium Requested Amendment AMD-734168-30

The impacts foreseen in the DoA section 2.1 are considered Valid.

Technical Impact
Main impact is in general on the integrated approach of the three domains. CNS as unique entity and not as three separated domains as seen in the past. PJ14 has developed this idea through its solutions, based on the support of the PJ14.01.01, an integrated CNS suites able to provide a mature and consolidated CNS evolution, full addressing the vision, the strategy and the roadmap agreed.
Economic Impact
A reduction of the costs based on the rationalization of the CNS structures can be reflected in beneficial impact on all the actors involved up to the final users.

Social Impact
The social impact of the whole project 14 can be considered very positive, as all solutions provide innovative results. In other words, the state of the art for CNS developments has been produced in a connected way by all stakeholders. This, without any doubt, can bring benefits to the whole European community by leading it towards a dominant position in the ATM technology market.
As a consequence, this will create new opportunities and growth of European companies, with the creation of new job opportunities.
