Summary

The EEN-Ukraine Consortium partners made 35 completed IMP3rove assessments. According to achievement plan EEN-Ukraine Consortium had to make 31 IMP3rove assessments: IP of NASU – 9; UCCI – 9; TSNU – 9; NIC – 4. Two partners UCCI and NIC made extra plan due to budget savings of travel cost, because UCCI did not take part in training courses abroad. Seven Ukrainian companies which won SMEs Instrument the Phase 1 were engaged to KAM service. Summarizing the results of EEN-Ukraine Consortium: according the plan it was foreseen in total 37 services, but our Consortium has provided during report period in total 39 services, so we have progress 105%.

The results of this EEN-Ukraine Project (N770686) is important for Ukrainian SMEs because it is open for them new opportunities to be be comparable with best European SMEs which are working at the same business sphere.
It can help to increase cooperation between Ukrainian and European SMEs.

The EIMC service has shown a significant impact on Ukrainian SMEs concerning changing their vision on implementing innovation methods of their operation. The main benefit for Ukrainian SMEs was to receive a high quality benchmarking analyzes that made possible to compare their business with EU champions.
Some of Ukrainian companies which have passed innovation management assessment decided to establish a new structural unit for marketing and strategy implementation. Most of companies came up to the idea of improvement their vertical communication between middle and top management in order to have one clear strategy vision.

The KAM services also provided a significant support to the Ukrainian companies which participated in the 1st Phase of SME Instrument. All chosen coaches well performed their actions.
Every Ukrainian company that used KAM service decided to apply for 2nd Phase of SME Instrument. This fact shows us a high interest to the EU innovation support programs from the Ukrainian SMEs. We expect to have more Ukrainian innovative SME’s participated in SME instrument phases in 2019.
