e-Infrastructure & Science Gateway Development Guide for NRENs and Communities of PracticeA guide to show (i) how NRENs can set up and support e-Infrastructure services such as Certification Authorities, Identity Federations, Open Access Document & Data Repositories and support for Science Gateway hosting and (ii) how CoPs can set up their own Science Gateways and install software, data, sensor and computing services to serve the needs of their community. This will also provide off-the-shelf educational module with an African context that lecturers and trainers can use to base their own courses on. It will contain recommended reading, lecture content and suggestions for assessment and project work for students. Material will also be tailored for “spot†lectures to show the value of Science Gateways for African CoPs and will be geared to “speak†to African students and interested parties on the value of these technologies to scientific communities.
