 Obiettivo del progetto (Objective)

'The aim of this project is to establish lasting relationships between Ranplan, and two academic partners to research and develop automatic planniong and optimisation (P&O) tools for emerging broadband radio access networks such as HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) and WiMAX and the hybrids of such networks with UMTS and Wi-Fi, i.e., Heteregeneous Radio Access Network (HRANs). The research topics are very important for EU's ICT infrastructure. The project is highly interdisciplinary as it covers wireless communications, Operations Research (OR), and High End Computing (HEC).'
