 Obiettivo del progetto (Objective)

'The project is based on warmly welcomed previous Researcher’s Night 2007 and 2008 experience. This activity of the EC is from year to year more and more popular in Slovakia among variety stakeholders – going from policymakers, top-level representatives from academic institution to individual research and general public. We still see the room for improvement and therefore we decided to change overall strategy of the project in the following way: - researchers as ordinary people - as level of awareness of activities during the night is already on very good level, we are able finally to put desired focus on researchers as ordinary people (previous years were different, as we needed to put in front of the project science shows in order to attract for the first time ever in Slovakia more people on such event); - regionalization of the events in 2009 project; - breakthrough in awareness campaign in 2009 – based on the previous experience, we are going to diversify the awareness campaign activities in order to reach even better impact and more people than in the previous years. The change of the strategy fully reflects previous years’ evaluation reports of RN project proposals for Slovakia. Our main reason behind the change of the strategy is to make the impact of the project maximum possible. The project will be integral part of several days lasting science festival in Slovakia and will be the most important part of it. Reaching of the objectives will be carefully evaluated in the impact assessment activities. Activities during the night will fully reflect the above mentioned strategy and will be as follows: - Poster Competition: Imagine the Researchers´ Night 2010 - Photo Exhibition for Researchers - Drawing Competition - Main event – Researchers´ Night in Slovakia 2009: Science is Life - Scientific Cafés - Local events at universities and research institutes'
