'We propose an investigation into various classification problems and problems of Set Theoretic nature arising in Operator Algebras. The particular focus of the project is on the classification problem of group-measure space factors arising from an ergodic a.e. free action of a non-amenable group, on the classification problem of ITPFI factors, and on the classification of the consistent possibilities of the structure of automorphisms of the Calkin algebra.'
