 Obiettivo del progetto (Objective)

'On the occasion of the XX anniversary of the EC-US Task Force on Biotechnology Research, the next working groups annual meeting will be held on Barcelona (June 2-5). This special celebration day will be an open Conference; it will give information and training trough bioscience and biotechnology concepts. The event will be held at the Barcelona Biomedical Reserach Park premises, PRBB (www.prbb.org) and will join scientists with renowned international prestige, from United States of America and Europe. During the Conference, the different sessions will analyze the evolution and impact of the Biotehcnology from the Task Force Group creation. It will serve also to define the challenges, the new research lines and priorities in the United States of America and Europe. The commemoration day will be followed by the annual meeting of the working groups of the Task Force. The Spanish Presidency of the European Council is a good frame to enforce the visibility of such important event, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra ( www.upf.edu) and PRBB are excellent hosts for the occasion.'
