 Obiettivo del progetto (Objective)

'This research proposal focuses on the Baryonic Acoustic Oscillation signature in the low-redshift clustering of galaxies as a test for Dark Energy. Two vigorous lines of research are outlined. These are aimed at the challenge of readying this test and the other Large-Scale Structure tests of cosmology, for the era of percent-precision. This proposal also seeks funding to support the PI during their period of reintegration into the European scientific community. These funds will help the PI to maintain their recognised leadership in this area and to widely interact with their new European colleagues at the highest levels. It will further enable them to maintain strong ties with their trans-Atlantic partners in the US. This funding therefore offers the potential for encouraging closer long-term interaction between some of the best researchers in Europe and the US.'
