Waste metals generated in surface treatment industry processes are not recycled, but 1,800 million litres of metal-rich acidic waste are disposed every year.
The ReCreo treatment is a zero-waste process for metal-rich acidic waste: it regenerates the acidic solution back to the process and extracts metals in the form of salt for re-use. Waste is decreased by 100%. TRL 7 reached; a pilot plant with the capacity of 2 million litres of waste per year.
