The Internet of Medical things (IoMT), a multi hundred billion Euro market by 2028, presents an opportunity to revolutionize healthcare by collecting and analysing real time patient data. The IoMT brings together the digital and physical worlds to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosis and treatments, and monitor and modify patient behaviour and health status in real time. It improves health care organisations’ operational productivity and effectiveness by streamlining clinical processes, information and work flows. Therefore medical device companies need to transform into data companies. BUT IoMT is inherently complex, and vendors face Major skill and technology gaps they must overcome in areas such as cyber security, Data Privacy and Quality regulations as well as scaling IoMT solutions to support Millions of devices worldwide. The bio-T™ platform is HIPAA & GDPR compliant, designed specifically for connected medical devices with the aim of reducing risk and saving valuable time, money and focus for healthcare innovators.
